Energy Adviser – Musselburgh Citizens Advice Bureau

Full-time (35 hours) | Fixed-term 2 years
Salary: £26,299 – £29,391.18 (DOE)

Musselburgh Citizens Advice Bureau is recruiting an Energy Adviser to support residents across East Lothian with energy bills, heating systems, grants, and fuel poverty issues. This rewarding role focuses on helping vulnerable households improve home warmth, reduce energy costs, and access financial support.

You’ll provide advice by phone, in person, and through home visits, run community drop-ins, and work with partner organisations. Full training provided, including City & Guilds Level 3 Energy Awareness and CAB Adviser Training.

Ideal for someone who is empathetic, organised, and passionate about supporting people through the cost‑of‑living crisis.
